Pine Rivers Netball Association

Program Highlights:

• Comprehensive Training: Our program offers rigorous training sessions led by experienced coaches, focusing on skill development, tactical awareness, and game strategies.
• Competitive Play: Players will have the opportunity to compete in regional day and twilight carnivals, showcasing their skills and representing Pine Rivers Netball Association. Our Division 1 and 2 teams will participate in Netball Queensland's Nissan Junior State Age Championships, which will be held at the Sunshine Coast Netball Association from July 5, 2025, to July 8, 2025. Additionally, our Division 3 teams will have the opportunity to compete in a development carnival, with further details to be confirmed.
• Holistic Development: Beyond technical training, our program emphasizes the importance of physical fitness, mental resilience, and teamwork. Players will receive guidance on nutrition, injury prevention, and personal well-being.
• Coaching: Our coaching team is comprised of highly qualified and passionate individuals dedicated to mentoring and supporting each player’s growth and development.
• Community and Team Spirit: We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where players can form lasting friendships, develop leadership skills, and build a strong sense of team spirit.

Please note that the Pine Rivers Netball Association Junior Representative Program has undergone significant changes for 2025. The program dates have been moved to align with our new schedule, differing from previous years. After careful reflection and valuable feedback from coaches, players, and parents, we have implemented these changes to enhance the overall experience.

Key Changes:

• Program Dates: The Junior Representative Program will now take place in 2025, with updated schedules and timelines.

• Breaks and Downtime: We have considered the need for players and coaches to have adequate time away from the program to prevent burnout and ensure overall well-being.

• Selection Process: All selections will be conducted in 2025, directly following the development program.

• Compulsory Development Program: Participation in the development program is mandatory for all players wishing to trial for the Junior Representative teams.

• New Policies: We are in the process of creating a Pine Rivers Representative Policy and restructuring the selection policy. These updates will be finalised before registration opens. All players and guardians will be required to read and sign an agreement acknowledging these policies.
  

• Skills and Drills Sessions: There will be non-compulsory skills and drills sessions available for junior players in October 2024. These sessions are designed to help players refine their skills and prepare for the upcoming season.
